A Life That Became a Mission Mama Grace Oghoghorie was known for her generosity and unwavering care for people around her. She helped without expecting recognition , supporting families, encouraging young people, and strengthening faith within her community. Rather than letting her memory fade, her family chose to transform grief into purpose by creating The Grace Oghoghorie Foundation . The foundation now carries forward what she practiced daily: • compassion • community support • faith-based service • practical help for those in need Each annual memorial therefore serves two purposes: remembrance and action. Program of the Memorial Day 9:00 AM — Thanksgiving Service Adoration Center, St. Williams Catholic Church, Orerokpe The day begins with worship and gratitude, reflecting Mama Grace’s strong spiritual life. The service focuses on thanksgiving rather than mourning ,honoring her faith and the impact she had on others. 11:00 AM — TGOF Benevolence & Charity Event Immediately after the service, the foundation continues her legacy through outreach activities. This segment represents the heart of the memorial: helping the living in honor of the departed. 1:00 PM — Graveside Blessing & Cocktail Reception Eku House – Behind Town Hall Family and friends gather at the graveside for prayers and final blessings, followed by a reception where stories, memories, and fellowship keep her spirit alive among those she touched. More Than a Memorial For the Oghoghorie family and the community, this day is not simply an anniversary , it is a yearly reminder that a meaningful life does not end. It multiplies through the people it inspires. Through The Grace Oghoghorie Foundation, Mama Grace’s legacy has evolved into an ongoing commitment to service. Each act of charity performed in her name ensures that her influence continues to shape lives far beyond her lifetime. “A person truly lives on in the good they leave behind.”
